Round loaf with silver coin

Round loaf with silver coin

Flour – 500 g

Baking soda – 1 teaspoon

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Sugar – 1 teaspoon

Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons

Cool water – 2 tea cups (0,3 l)

Screen flour twice and make a hole in it. Put salt, sugar, vegetable oil and baking soda in the hole. Gradually add cool water, which together with little holy water and the other ingredients is kneaded until soft dough is obtained. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes. Then put a silver coin wrapped in foil and make a round loaf on surface sprinkled with flour. Optionally put a stick of cornel-tree and a bean. Prick all over the loaf with fork.

Bake the round loaf for about 40 minutes in oven preheated to 180 º C. Check whether the round loaf is ready by a toothpick.

Sprinkle the ready round loaf with water and quickly wrap it in a piece of cloth so that it remain soft.

Saint Laurentius, please, help –
For my kitchen to smell of tenderness
flavors, magic, goodies –
for my hands to touch the skies.
